If you are a small business looking for payroll business software, then you might be surprised at what Quickbooks can do for your payroll efforts.
I am an Accounting and Human Resources Assistant for a small (currently 20 employees) American flag sewing company along with a manufacturing company (currently 35 employees) which are both under the same roof.
- Payroll,
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable,
- Balancing checkbooks,
- Making packing slips and purchase orders,
- Vendor profiles,
- Employee profiles, and...
- Most everything else that needs to be done regarding accounting.
When I opened the QuickBooks program for the first time, I made the assumption that the program would be easy to figure out, and after a few weeks of learning my way around, it proved to be what I had expected!
The menus are clearly labeled, allowing you to quickly find what you need.
I would consider it a no frills program, which I believe is beneficial for working in the accounting department.
Direct deposit is also something that may be subscribed to.
QuickBooks allows in-depth company customization, particularly in terms of payroll categories and it really is enjoyable to work with!
Whenever I come to work, I usually am looking forward to opening the program and working with it.
