A-h-h. Who can forget the story of Goldilocks and
her quest to find a fit that was j-u-s-t right.
Follow her lead by finding a business or
new start-up idea that fits you.
In the story Goldilocks stumbles into a home tired and hungry. She became known because she insisted on picking the bed that was j-u-s-t right.
When sorting through your business and new start-up ideas, make sure you zoom in on one that will fit both yo AND your niched customer base j-u-s-t right.
No business will ever achieve success trying to be all things to all people.
In fact, the quickest way to kill your business is to try to make it so that it is all things to all people.
Have you ever talked to someone about what they do...and some kind of way they flubber through a few sentences that sound so generic and watered down that you quickly loose interest in whatever they are trying to say to you?
In fact, as soon as they get about fifteen-seconds into their spiel on what they do, you've found yourself tuning them out and letting your mind wander about what you're going to have for dinner, or what you want to do over the weekend?
The minute you try to be all things to all people, you will quickly find that you the "everybody" that you are trying to attract is no where to be found.
This is because people are very self-focused individuals...they have too much chaos going on in their lives to pay attention to a business that doesn't have anything to do with them.
You don't give the luxury of your attention to every new business idea that comes along.
In fact, you quickly turn a deaf ear to that person who dares to try to tell you about their latest business venture.
Because here's a reality that you can't hide: when you are excited, passionate, and extremely skilled at something, you can't help but to become excited about it.
In fact, when you talk about it, some kind of way you light up other souls and enlighten hearts.
Thus, it benefits you to find business or new start-up idea that electrifies, for you will find that your excitement will naturally draws others to you.
However, if you select business or new start-up idea that bores you to no end, you will find that it repels others away from you.
A lukewarm business idea has a tendency of falling through the cracks, giving your potential customer base nothing to run home and tell others about.
And it's that "run home and tell others" that builds successful business.
Scan through a variety business and new start-up ideas until you find the one that makes your heart go wild.
You - and your customers - are worth it.
